To facilitate the machining, a reasonable toolpath should be process efficient and time saving, meanwhile get other benefits like minimize waste, avoid potential tip-up risk, reduce
thermal-affected deformation etc. Toolpath in CypCut mainly resulted by nesting and sorting operation, the former one decides parts arrangement and the later one decides
cutting sequence.
A part in CypCut has elements of part geometry, layer, part name, quantity, dimension, toolpath and technique features, which all are what-you-see-is-what-you-get style.
A sheet in CypCut has elements of sheet geometry, sheet name, dimension, material and thickness. You can create a sheet by parameter setting or select a shape from drawing board.
Nesting strategy is the approach the program take to create a nest. After you add parts in parts list, click button open ‘auto nest’ window to set nesting strategy.
CypCut has featured strategies to approach sorting that fits for part geometries of different lay out. You can also manually adjust sorting result.
After finish nesting and sorting, you can check the toolpath and sequence statically by Home > View sequence tag, toolpath and position path. Or you can simulate the cutting path
dynamically. Simulation only demonstrates sequence to process drawing, doesn’t execute any motion commands in machine.
