Merge Parts in Tail

Some specific pipe cutting machines have Seven-axis Pull Part and Auto Dodge feature that allows for zero-remnant cutting, but due to the mechanical structures, the parts at the end of the pipe must be longer than a certain length.

If the parts to be processed cannot reach this specific length, then the <Merge Parts in Tail> feature in top tool bar can be used.

If a machine needs the part in the tail is longer than 200mm, you can set the tail range as 200mm as shown above, and the parts nested in the tail will be changed.

The parts in Tail Range will be merged into one seemingly, except the cut-off lines at the end and start(26 and 31), the cutting path of the rest ones in the middle(no matter whether they are co-edged) will be applied Layer 10(Orange), and all holes or other graphics on the part will be kept.

When machining this merged part, the holes and cut-off line at the start and end position will be cut normally, but orange cut-off lines will be applied some MicroJoints to make the originally separate part connected with last one, which can recognize all these parts as a whole one during the cutting.

Notes

When applied Merge Parts in Tail, TubesT will change its original layer into Layer 10, and if you want to add MicroJoints, then the cutting parameters of Layer 10 should be same to Layer 1 in TubePro.
